Band Line Up:
Mo-Grass | 8:30 - 10:00 PM
Born in North Carolina and fueled by deep grooves and front-porch fire, Mo-Grass is a brand-new collaboration that feels instantly classic. Two beloved NC-based bands—Big Daddy Love and The Deluge—have joined forces with some of the state’s finest soul musicians to create a project that boldly reimagines the Motown songbook through a bluegrass lens.
At its core, Mo-Grass is about joy, feel, and connection. The band takes timeless soul hits and dresses them in banjo rolls, tight vocal harmonies, and funky, danceable rhythms. It’s Motown with a twang, bluegrass with a deep heartbeat, and your favorite soul music that never forgets where it came from. The result is a sound that’s both deeply familiar and thrillingly unexpected.
Mo-Grass draws from a legendary catalog, covering artists like Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Otis Redding, The Isley Brothers, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, The Box Tops, Dusty Springfield, Bill Withers, and Jackie Wilson, among many others. Each song is treated with reverence and creativity—honoring the originals while carving out something entirely new.
The buzz is already real. Mo-Grass has been officially confirmed for major 2026 festival appearances, including MerleFest, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, and FloydFest—a strong signal that this project has struck a chord across genres and generations.
Don’t miss Mo-Grass as it makes waves across the southeastern music scene—bridging soul and string music with heart, groove, and undeniable Southern spirit.
The Caleb Stine Band | 6:15 - 7:45 PM
Caleb Stine is a singer, guitarist, songwriter, and visual artist. His songs seek to uncover the mysteries of our shared humanity that live just below the surface of everyday experiences. His music has drawn comparisons to Townes Van Zandt and Willie Nelson, but Caleb’s songs are uniquely his own. Flying just below the mainstream radar, Stine has self-released a dozen albums, opened shows for artists like Jason Isbell, Bombino, and Sam Bush, acted Off-Broadway, and drawn story-boards for John Waters, while dynamically keeping the live shows rolling for fifteen years, ‘Stine’s upfront personality seeking to make a personal connection with everyone in the venue’ (Americana UK) Catch a Caleb Stine performance and you’ll leave inspired.
SJ McDonald | 4:30 - 5:30 PM
SJ McDonald is a rising country artist from the rolling hills of Rockbridge Baths, Virginia, where she grew up working on her family farm and shaping a sound that blends grit, heart, and 90s-country nostalgia with modern storytelling. A first-place winner in American Songwriter’s Traditional Country category and the NASCAR Nashville Superspeedway Headlining Artist, she’s been featured in Billboard’s “Must Hear New Country Songs” and is steadily winning over fans nationwide.
A true farmer’s daughter, SJ cut her teeth on stages across the Southeast from a young age, fronting bands for years and playing over 75 shows annually. Her breakout single “Honky Tonk Pie” captures the grind of chasing a dream as a woman in country music, drawing from her years singing for tips on Nashville’s Lower Broadway. Whether in an intimate acoustic set or a full-band high-energy show, she delivers performances that leave a lasting impression.
She’s currently on tour with Emily Ann Roberts, John Anderson, and Cooper Alan, with her debut EP “Sweet At First” produced by Andy Sheridan released in December 2025, and new music released January 2026 with her punchy & fun single “You Say Vegas”. SJ McDonald is carving her own lane in contemporary country — bringing authentic stories, blue-collar charm, and a bold new energy to a new generation of listeners.
