Join us as we celebrate summer and miles together on 5Kish and 10Kish routes through the Willowbrook and Hunley Creek neighborhoods. All skill levels and paces welcome. We love our walkers!

There will be shoe demos(TBD), food and games, lots of fun, and last, but certainly not least, hills! We love hills! 

In addition to all that, there will also be Charlotte Marathon ambassadors present to tell you all about the November 15, 2025 race, have a raffle with multiple giveaways, and one lucky person will snag a FREE entry!

The parking situation might get hairy, so these are my suggestions to help:

Park along Bent Oak Drive. Please DO NOT park on a single blade of grass and DO NOT block driveways or fire hydrants. 

Another option is to park along Willowbrook Drive, and meander up Gabe’s Dumb Hill - might as well get to know her. Same rules apply about grass, driveways, and hydrants. 

A third option is to park across the street in the Harris Teeter parking lot and walk over. Just look both ways before crossing the street. Don’t break rule #1  – Don’t Get Dead. 

If you can, carpool. If you’re a crazy ultra runner, run here. ?

Plans are to have directional signs and at least one water drop. It’s June and it’s gonna be hot, but please bring adequate hydration with you for your safety! It’s hydrate or diedrate out there! If you break rule #1, I will be very disappointed in you!

If you require a frosty beer after your run, please bring your own. We are not a bar. If you want something other than a hotdog or a hamburger grilled, bring it.
