Jamie Walker is the guitarist and vocalist for the legendary Swinging Steaks, a ground breaking, nationally touring, alt-country band that was formed in the 1990's.  He is returning to  our special corner of Dorchester with a truly mighty crew of his most talented friends  - check out this line-up:

*** Laurie Young (vocals, trumpet) brings the role of the goddess and co-fronts the band
***  Andy Plaisted of the Dennis Brennan Band, the Swinging Steaks, The Lunch Factor and The Pee Wee Fist
*** Jim Gambino (keyboards, vocals) of the Swinging Steaks
*** Dave Weden (guitar/banjo) of Group Therapy, Vice Grips and Shotgun Waltz
*** Dennis Semprebon (drums and percussion) of Craig Carter and the Hurricanes
*** Brad Kohl (saxophone) of Hot Acoustics and Group Therapy
*** Glenn Shambroom (Guitar, Vocals, Baritone Sax) of the Love Dogs
*** Paul Kochanski (bass) of Lori McKenna, Jon Pousette-Dart, Mark Erelli, Susan Werner, Peter Mulvey et al.

They'll be playing a mix of Jamie's songs and choice covers that blend elements of rock, pop, country, soul, R&B, and blues.

This event is being presented by SHK Music at the Boston Harbor Distillery - a wonderfully unique and intimate setting to take in great music with its 1850's architecture, great acoustics, comfortable seating and fantastic selection of made-on-the-premises liquors and liqueurs.
