Seascape Waves & Panels Fused Glass Workshop

During this fun and informal session you will be given all the shimmering glass needed to come up with your own glass wave design approx. 38cm x 7.5cm.

With a focus on colour and texture, your abstract form with evoke memories of holidays, crashing waves and seaside views. Usually I fire each piece twice so it will slump into a free standing wave form but you could also create a flat hanging or a piece that you get framed after the session, happy to advise on this last option. The main thing to remember is to have fun!

You will play with different types of decorative glass elements and learn a little about how the kiln firing will change them. Simply complete your design during the session and leave it at the studio for me to fire, finish and clean up for you. Arrange to pick up a few weeks later or I can post your finished piece at cost.

I will talk through all the Health & Safety in the session but I want you to know now, you will be handling pre-cut glass pieces, they have pointy ends but with the right handling, they won’t hurt you. Recommended for ages 13+, all under 16s to be accompanied by a paying adult.
