This is a scenic and varied Peak District walk, taking in some of Matlock’s most iconic views and history.

Highlights include:
• Starting in Matlock Bath
• A steady climb to High Tor with dramatic views over the Derwent Valley
• Trails around the Heights of Abraham
• Woodland paths, river sections, open viewpoints, and historic surroundings

The terrain includes steep climbs and potentially muddy paths, so good hiking footwear is strongly recommended.
