Join us for the official launch of our National Lottery–funded project, Healing in Nature — a two-year community wellbeing programme designed to support mental, emotional, and social health through connection with nature.
This free, inclusive event welcomes everyone to enjoy mindfulness, forest immersion, gentle movement, and community connection, culminating in a free community meal (vegan & gluten free) to celebrate local togetherness.
About Moksha Holistic Therapies CIC
Moksha Holistic Therapies CIC is a Community Interest Company founded to provide accessible, inclusive, and community-focused wellbeing services. Since its inception, Moksha has worked to help people connect with themselves, their community, and the natural world through holistic therapies, mindful practices, and nature-based activities.
The ethos of Moksha CIC is grounded in the belief that wellbeing encompasses body, mind, and spirit. They create welcoming, supportive spaces where people of all ages and abilities can explore mindfulness, gentle movement, creative expression, and connection to nature.
Through projects like Healing in Nature, Moksha combines practical wellbeing techniques with community engagement and environmental care, fostering both individual health and stronger, more connected communities.

What Happens on the Day
11:00 AM – Welcome & Gathering
Meet at Milk Churn Café CIC
Light refreshments and introductions
Overview of the day and safety guidance
11:15 AM – Forest Bathing & Mindful Nature Walk
Gentle guided walk through gardens and woodland
Mindful exercises focusing on sights, smells, and sounds
Herb and tree identification, grounding techniques
11:45 AM – Sound Healing Session
Crystal singing bowls in a forest setting
Meditative session to encourage relaxation and emotional release
12:15 PM – Gentle Movement & Breathing Exercises
Slow, accessible movements and breathwork
Designed to relax the body and calm the mind
12:45 PM – Community Litter Pick / Trail Care
Light volunteer activity along the woodland trail
Connect with nature and community through caring for the environment
Optional participation — attendees can relax if preferred
1:15 PM – Free Community Meal
Enjoy a freshly prepared meal at the Milk Churn Café
Opportunity to meet neighbours, share stories, and celebrate community spirit
1:45 PM – Introduction to Healing in Nature
Overview of the 2-year programme and upcoming sessions
Attendees invited to provide feedback and ideas to shape future activities
2:00 PM – Closing & Farewell
Final reflections in the woodland setting
