🚶 October Walk – Rowtor Rocks, Hermit’s Cave & Robin Hood’s Stride
📍 Meeting Point: Druids Inn, Birchover DE42BL (parking available at the pub and further down the road – please arrive early to secure a space)
📅 Date: Saturday 4th October 2025
⏰ Time: 9:00am set off
This month’s walk will be a little different – instead of following a set route, we’ll start from the Druids Inn in Birchover and head out to explore some local highlights:
• The fascinating Rowtor Rocks
• The historic Hermit’s Cave
• A scenic stroll along Robin Hood’s Stride
From there, we’ll see where the paths lead us, aiming to cover around 7–10 miles in total through the beautiful Peak District countryside.
What to bring:
• Snacks / packed lunch
• Plenty of water
• Waterproof clothing & sturdy footwear
A relaxed and social day out with some unique sights and hidden gems – hope to see you there
