First Day Hike: BARK Ranger

You've heard of Junior Ranger for kids... now there's B.A.R.K Ranger for dogs! Your dog can earn a B.A.R.K Ranger certificate after completing this hike!

Make your furry friend a certified B.A.R.K. Ranger on this scavenger hunt adventure!

Meet: Catfish Trailhead

Hike Info: This will be an easy, guided 1-mile loop. Depending on conditions, the trail could be muddy in some areas, so use caution.

Audience: Dogs are encouraged! Dogs must remain on a leash. Please keep in mind that if your dog is an introvert they may not appreciate being brought to this hike :)

Bring:

close-toed shoes
waste bags
plenty of water for you and your dog


Cost: Free with park admission. $5/person 13 and up, free for children 12 and under. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
