Join Us for the Love, Matawan Celebration!
Mark your calendars and bundle up, Matawan is coming together to celebrate kindness, creativity, and community at the Love, Matawan Celebration!
February 28 in Terhune Park from 4:30–6:00 PM
Come stroll through Terhune Park and take in a glowing display of decorated hearts, meaningful messages, and creative locks crafted by your friends and neighbors. Read notes of love, remembrance, gratitude, and encouragement. See the lanterns shining as the sun begins to set, snap a few photos, and share a smile (or two) as you experience the warmth our community has created together. It’s a simple but powerful reminder that even in the middle of winter, Matawan is filled with light and heart.

From February 2–27, you can participate in the Love, Matawan Project by purchasing a $15 kit at:

Create a tribute to someone special, share a message of hope or gratitude, or simply spread a little extra love around town. And here’s the best part: net proceeds benefit our local food bank, so every heart, lock, and luminary helps neighbors in need.
