Kala Wewa was built by the King Datusena and this is a reservoir complex consisting of two reservoirs, Kala Wewa and Balalu Wewa.
In addition to it’s being a wonder production of ancient Sri Lanka, the area creates splendid sceneries where ones eyes will start dancing with joy, and ears will be filled with calming sounds of nature leading to peace. If you are lucky witnessing the elephants would also add up.
Camping on the lake bank, visiting Namal Uyana comes along with this package adding more colour.
