Ladies Only Fishing Tournament August 21 ST and 22 ND , 2026 Matagorda Tournament Pavilion (Next to Harbor Bait & Tackle) Matagorda, Texas Visit us at: fortbendfishermen.com Event Schedule Fri 8-21-2026: 6:00 PM to 9 PM Captain’s Party @ Matagorda Fire Station Meal provided, bucket raffle, and more! Sat 8-22-2026: 6:00 AM - START FISHING 2:00 PM Weigh station opens. 4:00 PM Weigh station closes, awards to follow. Entry (stringer Weight): $300 per team. Spot Pot: $50 per team. Heaviest Gafftop : $50 per team. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse application or entry from any prospective entrant with or without cause. Any applicant refused entry will be entitled to a full refund of the entry fee. All tournament entrants and participants must be willing to submit to a polygraph. Results of the polygraph are final. Violation of any rule or un-sportswoman like behavior, such as but not limited to breaking of tournament rules or local/state/federal laws, display, or proof of non-ethical or moral conduct, misrepresenting or slander of the tournament or its volunteers will disqualify the team with no refund and may result in being banned from future participation. The decisions of the tournament committee, concerning any tournament matters is final. Lingerie on the Bay tournament, Fort Bend Fishermen Inc. nor its members and volunteers are responsible for injury, loss/damage to personal items, or loss of life and by participating in this event the entrant hereby waives their right to hold the aforementioned groups accountable. RULES: GENERAL 1. All contestants must be female and have paid their entry fee by the end of the Captain’s Party, the day before the tournament. LOTB staff will be at the Captain’s Party until that time to receive entries). NO REFUNDS except as for rule #25. 2. Each team is allowed to weigh in (1) stringer, consisting of (1) Trout, (2) Red Drum, and (1) Flounder. Total of (4) fish maximum per stringer, you DO NOT NEED all (4) fish to weigh in. All fish must be within the legal slot limits, no trout over 20” and no red drum over 28”. 3. All fish must be caught by registered entrants, during tournament hours, on the day of the tournament. 4. The tournament begins at 6:00 AM unless threatening weather is present. (See Safety & Weather) 5. Maximum team of four (4) Ladies fishing per boat, all of which must be registered in the tournament. Each team can also have one (1) captain and/or one (1) deck hand, both can be men, total of six (6) people max per boat. Captain and deck hand can bait hooks, net fish, get out backlashes but are NOT allowed to cast, retrieve, or fish, NO EXCEPTIONS! Violators will be disqualified. 6. All team contestants must be listed on the entry form. Angler changes may be made only with prior approval of the tournament committee. 7. All members of the team MUST fish out of the same boat. Contestants MAY NOT transfer to another boat except in case of an emergency. 8. Boundaries will be the Brazos river as east boundary, And the Matagorda Ship channel jetties this means everything East of Matagorda Ship channel as it goes North through Matagorda bay as West boundary. We will have Map showing boundaries of the areas anyone with Question feel free to ask at captains party or Call. All waters fished during the tournament must be legally accessible to the public. 9. All fish must be caught by rod & reel in strict adherence to State Laws. No over size fish can be entered. 10. No bait acquired by illegal means, no pre-baiting fishing spots, and no culling of dead fish. 11. Entrants are subject to random polygraph testing. You MUST be present within 15 minutes if called for a test or you will be disqualified. Alcohol can affect the polygraph test results. Any entrant that is unable to complete or take the test will be disqualified. 12. A written protest submitted by a registered team captain, accompanied by a cash fee equal to the amount of the tournament entry fee, may be filed with the tournament director no later than 4:00 PM on the day of the tournament. The fee will be refunded if the protest is judged valid. WEIGH IN 13. The weigh station will be located at the Matagorda Harbor Pavilion, in Matagorda, TX. 14. The weigh station will open at 2:00 PM and close at 4:00 PM the day of the tournament. To weigh your fish, you MUST BE IN LINE with your fish by 4:00 PM. NO EXCEPTIONS! 15. To weigh in the contestants must appear in person and be part of the (4) person fishing team. 16. All fish will be weighed once on the same scale. The weigh master’s call is final. 17. The turn in fish will be chosen by the contestants BEFORE getting in line, weighed one time, and marked by the weigh team. 18. If an entrant attempts to enter a fish that is not of legal size that person and her team will be DISQUALIFIED. 19. Official records maintained by the weigh master and not the status board will determine the winner. 20. All fish submitted must be in a fresh, edible condition. Frozen, thawed, spoiled, mutilated fish, or fish altered from its natural state will be DISQUALIFIED. The weigh master has the option to retain the fish for inspection and future reference. Weigh master’s decision is final. 21. In the case of a tie, first stringer weighed turned in (Time Stamp) is the winner. SAFETY & WEATHER 22. Boat operators should check their safety equipment prior to the tournament, and it is recommended that while wade fishing, you wear a PFD. The filing of a float plan is encouraged. 23. Contestants outside of the boat that are wading MUST STAY within 1/2 mile of their boat. 24. If threatening weather is present, the tournament start may be delayed. The decision to delay the start time will be made at 6:00 AM and not before. It is the responsibility of the contestants to verify the status of the tournament by contacting the tournament committee. If severe or threatening weather compels the tournament committee to cancel the tournament and the tournament is not rescheduled, 80% of the entry fee will be refunded and the remainder retained to help cover the cost of the tournament. GENERAL SIDE POT RULES: 26. To enter a side pot teams must have paid their entry fee in accordance to rule #1. 27. All general rules of the tournament apply. 28. Contestants must appear in person and verify each entry with the weigh team. 29. Only one fish for each side pot can be turned in per team. 30. In the event of a tie, see rule #21. 31. In the event the tournament is canceled, see rule #26. SPOT POT 32. Red drum (Redfish) only. NO Redfish over 28”, fish must be caught following all tournament rules. 33. The fish with the most spots will be chosen by the contestant before getting in line. 34. Scoring is determined by the number of spots on both sides of a red drum. All-natural black spots 1/8” and larger are counted. There MUST be a clear and distinct visible line between spots to be counted. 35. The spot pot redfish does not have to be part of the team stringer, but it can be if the team wishes to enter it as one of their (2) stringer redfish. In this case the fish’s weight will go towards the stringer and the spot count towards the side pot. 36. HEAVIEST GAFFTOP 37. Only (1) Gafftop per entry, heaviest wins.
