Come join us for a fun, nurturing day exploring how syntropic food forests can help create beautiful, resilient edible landscapes here in the mighty Wai 🌱

Hang out in our working pottery and garden space in Whakaoriori Masterton, where we'll share how we’re slowly experimenting with adding more perennial food plants and syntropic principles into an everyday garden 🌿

A real-world look at what’s working, what’s unfinished, and how resilient edible gardens evolve over time from a work-in-progress! 

Together we’ll explore:
🌱 Introductory syntropic food forest principles
🌿 How food forest “nests” work
🌳 Choosing plants that support each other
🐝 Regenerating your soil + creating long-term kai resilience
🤝 Low-cost ways to get started through propagation, swaps & community

In the afternoon we’ll head out into the māra to take a look at our existing food forest nests together - exploring how these systems can evolve over time and how to get started in your own space.

This is not about perfection or knowing everything already, it's about sharing our journey and connecting with others on their growing journey 🌱
