Alexa and Avery Polinori are a married artist duo based in Canton, OH. In collaboration with other local artists and writers, they've produced each issue of The Backroom Zine. The zines feature comics, artwork, and designs from each of them. Their most recent zine, Reincarnate, celebrated the works from the Silo Art show of the same name. Alexa curated the art show by exchanging works between visual and textual artists. Avery, a featured artist in the show, collected the works together in a celebratory zine. Currently, the Polinori's live with their two cats, Frank and Beans. The felines serve as inspiration for a comedic comic/zine series currently in the works. Alexa curated a follow-up to her Reincarnate show that will serve as the basis for another zine.
