G-REX is headlining 9 Bob Note for a night of heavy bass music. Detroit-born producer and DJ G-REX has established himself as one of bass music’s most distinctive voices, blending heavyweight dubstep, trap and hip-hop influence into a dark, immediately recognizable sound. His breakout collaboration “Babatunde” with PEEKABOO became a defining record of the modern bass era, followed by releases across WAKAAN, Deadbeats, OWSLA, Never Say Die, Subsidia and more. In 2023, he added another major record to his catalog with “BADDERS,” alongside Skrillex, PEEKABOO and Flowdan.

G-REX is well proven behind the decks, with appearances at Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, Shambhala and HARD Summer, plus tours alongside artists including Excision and Liquid Stranger. Now an established headliner in his own right, his sets combine the weight of his original productions with deep bass selections, hip-hop sensibility and years of experience commanding major stages.

We also have special guest Xotix pulling up to give us our daily dose of Wubz. Xotix has built a reputation for intricate sound design, heavy low-end and high-energy live sets. With releases on WAKAAN, Bassrush, Jadu Dala and Subsidia, he's brought his sound to major stages including Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, Lightning in a Bottle, WAKAAN Festival and North Coast.
