The journey continues at stop #6: St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Liberty Township, a modern parish with a vibrant community and a unique connection to its namesake. On this tour, you’ll discover how this parish was founded in 1989 to serve the growing Catholic population in the Butler County suburbs. Learn about its patron, St. Maximilian Kolbe, a martyr who gave his life in Auschwitz to save another, embodying selfless love. Finally, admire the church’s contemporary architectural design, which incorporates symbolism reflecting St. Maximilian's devotion to Mary and his missionary spirit​
