Jeff Pitchell is an internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actor. Blending Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, and Jimi Hendrix with his own soulful chops, Jeff has won numerous national and international awards for “Best Singer,” “Best Songwriter,” “Best Guitarist,” “Best Blues Show,” and “Best Band.” His original song Eye for an Eye won an International Songwriting Contest and was recently recorded by the legendary John Mayall.
Jeff has shared the stage with music icons including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Bo Diddley, Ted Nugent, Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee J. Geils, Gregg Allman, Warren Haynes, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Elvin Bishop, and Larry Hoppen.
Some of his career highlights include:
· Being inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame.
· His last two albums, Playing With My Friends and Browneyed Blues, both hit #1 for 12 consecutive weeks on the Roots Electric Blues Charts worldwide.
· Releasing seven studio albums, including Heavy Hitter (Pyramid Records/EMI), which reached #7 on the National Billboard Charts and remained there for 12 weeks.
· Performing with the Allman Brothers Band in NYC to a sold-out Beacon Theatre. The performance was later released by the Allman Brothers and included collaborations with J. Geils, Rick Derringer, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason
· Recording in studio with legendary artists such as Rick Derringer, Clarence Clemons, Dave Mason, and James Cotton, as well as Grammy winner Charles Neville.
· Writing the soundtrack for the James Woods-produced filmAmerican Girl.
· Achieving international acclaim and being invited to join The Commitments as a special guest during a European tour.
· Performing God Bless America at Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox
Jeff has performed in tribute lineups with members of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Double Trouble, Bad Company, Blue Öyster Cult, and more. His touring revue, The Legends Live On!, features artists tied to musical royalty including Michael Allman (son of Gregg Allman), Claudette King (daughter of B.B. King), Sheila Raye Charles (daughter of Ray Charles), and Grammy winner Charles Neville.
