No, it's not Whamageddon, but it IS an attempt to cleverly communicate that this will be the last regular Free Shrugs Improv show. After 23 years of performing together, we're ready for a break. We're planning one more "Farewell" show for sometime later in the spring (details TBD), but until then this will be your last opportunity to see "Clean Comedy with Free Shrugs Improv."
Our Christmas show is always one of our favorites and we make it extra special for everyone. Not only do you get the hilarious comedy you’ve come to expect from Free Shrugs Improv, but you also get a chance to win an actual Christmas present from one of the performers. It’s simple…
1. Come to the show. Everyone who attends gets one entry into our random drawing. Admission is just $5 at the door.
2. Wear an ugly sweater… or some Christmas “bling…” or anything festive. Everyone who is sporting holiday spirit of some sort gets an ADDITIONAL entry into the drawing.
3. Bring new, unwrapped toys to donate for kids ages 7-13 at Youth Haven. Once again this year Free Shrugs Improv is teaming up with Family Life Radio to make a difference in the lives of children right here in Michigan. For some, the only gift they get this Christmas might be from you. Anyone who brings a toy to donate gets yet ANOTHER entry into our drawing.
So there you have it… up to 3 chances to win a Christmas present from Free Shrugs Improv. AND since each random gift drawing is associated with one of our segments, the content of the show is random, too! Not even the performers know what is coming next.
