Sean Fullerton brings his unique solo music program titled, “RIC 12:  The Guitar of Jangle Rock”.    This tribute is dedicated to the Rickenbacker brand electric 12-String guitar, which quickly became the iconic guitar sound of the 1960’s Folk Rock movement.  The “RIC 12” was first introduced by The Beatles in the “A Hard Day’s Night” album in 1964, and popularized by The Byrds in 1965.  Since then, the “RIC 12” has been the central sound of countless radio hits to this day.  

My music program will be an hour long trip down memory lane with some of these classic sing-a-long songs from The Beatles, The Byrds, The Beach Boys, The Who, The Monkees, Mamas & The Papas, and more...with me singing and playing the “RIC 12” guitar, while supported by backing tracks I made myself.  A full band sound at a comfortable volume for everyone to enjoy.  I’ll also present educational talking points and some humor about the sound and visual beauty of the “RIC 12” throughout the program to help expand on the entertainment experience for the intergenerational listener.  Audience participation is always welcome and encouraged.
