- **Event Description**: Smoky Mountain Speedway tips off the 2026 season on March 14 as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series returns for the Tennessee Tip-off. Many of the nation’s top dirt late model drivers are expected for the $20,000 to win event.

Nick Hoffman leads the series’ point standings heading into the Volunteer State based on three wins in the young season. Two-time defending series Bobby Pierce is close by, and Tim McCreadie is off to a strong start in third. Other series regulars include Tyler Erb, Drake Troutman, Ryan Gustin, Dustin Sorenson, Ethan Dotson, Dennis Erb Jr., Daulton Wilson, Jake Timm, Tristan Chamberlain, Brent Larson, and Cody Overton.

Other national and regional favorites expected are Ricky Thornton Jr., Devin Moran, Dale McDowell, Mike Marlar, Jimmy Owens, Hudson O’Neal, Cory Hedgecock, Sam Seawright, Kaede Lowry, Todd Morrow, and more.

Also racing on March 14 will be sportsman late models will also be racing for $1,000 to win and front wheel drive for $500 to win. Juice Box races for the kids will take place during intermission.

Pit gates and tier parking gates will open at 2:00. Grandstand gates will open at 4:00. The driver’s meeting will take place at 6:00 followed by hot laps at 6:30.

Advanced Adult General Admission: $35.00/Day of: $40.00
Child General Admission (11 & under): $10.00
Advance Adult Pit Passes and Tier Parking: $40.00/Day of $45.00
Child Advance Pits & Tier Parking $20.00/Day of: $25.00

Smoky Mountain Speedway is located 12 miles south of Maryville, Tennessee. From Maryville, take Highway 411 south for 10 miles and turn left onto Brick Mill Road. Follow Brick Mill Road for approximately 2 miles, the racetrack is on the right. The first entrance is for grandstand parking. The second entrance is tier parking and campground access. The pit entrance is the third right on Crye Road.
