Come create a “clay band”  with drums, ocarinas, rattles, and more.   Students will learn about historic musical traditions  and combine basic hand building techniques of pinch pot, coil and slab to make their instruments.  Pieces will be glazed on the last day of class and be ready to pick up 2 weeks later.
 
*There will be no camp on Thursday!* Clay camps skip Thursday to allow time to safely dry and fire pieces without cracking or breaking. Camp runs Monday through Wednesday and Friday 9am-12pm. Clay camps do not have an art show, as all pieces need to be fired after camp concludes.
 
The clay camp fee covers all materials including clay, underglaze and glaze materials, bisque firing, and glaze firing.
