embroidery sampler while learning five foundational stitches that every beginner should know. Whether you’re brand new to embroidery or looking to refresh your skills, this workshop offers a relaxed, supportive environment to explore needle and thread.
Your instructor will guide you step-by-step through each stitch, showing you how to combine them into a charming sampler design you can proudly display. By the end of class, you’ll have a finished (or nearly finished) piece and the confidence to continue stitching at home.

Your instructor Alicia has years of experience and has her own Etsy shop,  Foothills Fiberworks.

All materials will be supplied.

Recommended age 12+

Time: 2 to 2.5 hours

You are welcome to bring food/beverages of choice.

Price: $40 includes all materials and instruction  + 4.5% booking fee per attendee.

More about this instructor: A Maryville native, Alicia Peery spent 25 years serving the city schools as a librarian and yearbook advisor, and shared her artistic skills with students. She comes from a family of fiber artists, quilters, illustrators, and painters, and creativity has always been central to her life. She calls herself a fungophile, as she enjoys learning about mushrooms and incorporates these into her art. She believes that everyone carries a creative spark waiting to be nurtured.
