Join us for a Nervous System Reset Workshop at Wicklanders Roots Apothecary.
In this class we will explore how the nervous system responds to stress and safety, how chronic stress gets held in the body, and practical, body‑based tools you can use to come back into balance. You will learn simple explanations of how the nervous system works in everyday life and why stress responses such as fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown happen in the first place. We will practice gentle, accessible tools — including breathwork, grounding, movement, and awareness exercises — that help signal safety to the body and invite regulation in real time. You will leave with a clearer understanding of your own nervous system patterns and simple practices you can use anytime you need to reset and feel calmer.
This workshop will help you notice the physical and emotional signals of stress in your body, learn tools to reduce overwhelm and tension, improve your ability to feel present and grounded, and build resilience so you can respond to life with more ease instead of reactivity. Nervous system support can help with better sleep, greater focus, more emotional steadiness, and a felt sense of safety in your body and daily routines.
As part of this experience, we will prepare a soothing nervine tea — a gentle herbal blend made with plant allies traditionally used to calm and support the nervous system — for you to enjoy in class and take home with simple brewing instructions so you can continue your practice of calm and regulation at home.
This class is beginner-friendly and open to all levels with no prior experience required. Each participant will practice tools in class, enjoy the nervine tea together, and receive a printed guide to support your practice at home.
