You will have access to the first line treatment for insomnia, CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia). CBT-I addresses the underlying issues that caused and now maintain your poor sleep. Unlike Medic*tion or herbal remedies, CBT-I addresses the underlying causes of insomnia rather than just relieving symptoms.

Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia can benefit nearly ANYONE with sleep problems. CBT-I can help people who have primary insomnia, as well as, people with physical problems that affect sleep, such as chronic pain, or those with mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety. Treating sleep problems simultaneously while treating depression, anxiety, or ADHD make treating these conditions easier, the symptoms less severe, and relapse less likely!

What's more, the effects seem to last and there is no evidence that CBT-I has any negative side effects. CBT-I requires steady practice and some approaches may cause you to lose sleep at first but if you stick with it, you will very likely see lasting results! This workshop is a cost and time effective way to address your insomnia or other sleep problems.

WORKSHOP DETAILS
(offered monthly throughout the year)
Monthly - Friday @ 5:30 - 7:30PM

Workshop includes:

•90 minutes of group psycho-education about sleep, CBT-I Treatment techniques
•30 minutes of a restorative yoga practice
•One 30 minute follow-up phone call with our Health & Wellness Coach to support development of plan for progress

Leader: Mandi Mader, LCSW-C, a therapist at Lotus Point Wellness. Mandi has over 20 years of experience as a psycho-therapist and over the last five years she has specialized in insomnia treatment and received training in CBT-I. In April 2019 she will be receiving three days of advanced sleep training at the University of Pennsylvania.

Cost: $95 (Includes 30 minutes of Yoga, one 30 minute phone session with our health & wellness coach)
