What if building a cubby could change a child’s life?
This November, something extraordinary is happening on the Fraser Coast.
We’re calling on local tradespeople, businesses, creatives and community champions to take part in Trade Off 4 Charity — a one-of-a-kind event where heart meets hammer. Together, teams will design and build incredible cubby houses that will be auctioned to raise funds for children who have experienced domestic and family violence.
But this is more than just timber and nails. These cubbies will become symbols of safety, imagination, and healing. They represent what every child deserves: a space to dream, to feel safe and to just be a kid again.
The event will be packed with community spirit, live music, food trucks, kids’ activities and maybe even a few superheroes. It’s a day to come together, get behind a cause that matters and have fun while doing it.
