- **Event Description**: Yes! The area’s favorite Friday night event is back: Sounds on the Square, held on the first Friday of the warm months at the Martinsville-Henry County Heritage Museum. 

The Andy Burnette Trio, a favorite local hit music cover band known for their high energy, funky grooves and good times, will open the series with a concert from 7-10 p.m. The concert will be held on the courtyard of the MHC Heritage Museum, the restored former Henry County Courthouse, at 1 E. Main St., Martinsville. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on the lawn, or sit at one of the tables which will be set up. Admission to the concert is free, and as a special for concert-goers, admission to the museum is half price for the entire day and until 9:30 p.m. ($5 general; $2.50 kids and seniors).

Scuffle Hill Brewery will sell varieties of their popular locally produced craft beers and wine.

The Andy Burnette Trio is a high energy, crowd-pleasing, good time band from Martinsville, Virginia. The Trio is in constant demand, performing over 120 shows a year in venues all across the region.
