Joining him are Jacob Pembelton, a lyrical bassist whose artistry is shaped by his work as an award-winning bass luthier, giving him a world-class sensitivity to tone, and Daniel Kelly II, the 2019 Shure Drum Mastery Grand Prize Winner, whose explosive creativity propels the trio to exhilarating heights.

The Quentin Walston Trio’s mission is to celebrate jazz’s roots while joyfully exploring further. Through Walston’s engaging stories and reflections woven into performance, audiences are invited to not only hear jazz but to understand and feel its ongoing story.
