Micah Edwards is Mr. Texas Soul, an artist whose music blends butter and twang, sultry and steel into a sound as vast as Texas itself. His fusion of classic country, vintage R&B, rockabilly, and Tejano influences sets him apart in a music scene that celebrates soulful revivalists like Leon Bridges and Thee Sacred Souls.
Raised between worlds—half Black, half white, a California transplant in Houston—Edwards embraces the contrasts in his identity, weaving them into his music. His ability to balance nostalgia with innovation has earned him over 150 million streams, recognition as a Salt Lick Incubator grant winner, a Tiny Desk Contest Top Shelf artist, and performances alongside JOHNNYSWIM, Saint Motel, Mac Ayres, and The War & Treaty.
