Join us for the 6th annual Jolene's Angels Benefit. Each year, this benefit is hosted in memory of our friend Jolene and raises money for families battling cancer or other serious medical conditions.
The funds raised from this year's benefit will go to Kris Federwitz. Kris is a former teacher in the Edgar School District who taught both of Jolene's children. They chose Mrs. Federwitz as this year's family, whom we are wrapping in our angel wings.
In June 2025, Kris received confirmation that she has Stage 4 Liver Cirrhosis and only 20% of her liver left. After months of tests and liver biopsies, Kris' medical team confirmed that her liver damage is irreversible and the organ will not regenerate. Despite the diagnosis, Kris, her family and friends, and her medical team are determined for her to keep her liver for as long as possible before a transplant is needed.
Kris' journey has shown her family firsthand how expenses add up when battling a serious medical condition, and the road ahead is long. Let's help them weather the storm!
