Come connect, explore, and celebrate the vibrant arts community that continues to grow right here in Marshall County! 🌟
"Art has been a constant in my life from an early age. My grandparents first exposed me to Taliesin and the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, where I learned to see the world through the lens of nature and beauty. That experience shaped how I began to view my own creations. My passion deepened at Iowa City West High under the guidance of art teacher Gerald Gedekes, and over the years I have continued to grow through countless workshops and opportunities to explore both drawing and pottery."
"As a 2025 recipient of the Arts + Culture Alliance Artist Innovation Grant, I am honored to share this work with the community. My goal is to create one-of-a-kind art that brings the touch of artistry into people’s lives. Research shows that experiencing aesthetically pleasing things can promote health and well-being—and I believe we all need more of that in our daily lives."
"This exhibit features a series of abstract line drawings and Raku pottery fired in the kiln funded by the Arts + Culture Alliance. I hope this exhibit leaves you feeling inspired." - Jon Muller
