- **Event Description**: Audition registrations for The Franke Center Youth Theater’s high school production of Hadestown: Teen Version are now open for 9th through 12th grade teens! This full-length Teen Edition of Anaïs Mitchell’s haunting, jazz-inflected folk opera follows Orpheus’ mythical quest to overcome Hades and regain the favor of his one true love, Eurydice. Auditions are open to all youth in grades 9th-12th. 

Auditions will be held at The Franke Center on the following dates:

– Learning Day – Monday, November 10th 4:30-7:30 pm

– Auditions – Tuesday, November 11th 4:30-7:30 pm

– Possible Callbacks – Wednesday, November 12th 4:30-7:30 pm

All Auditioners must fill out an application online before auditioning. The application can be found at the following link: https://thefranke.ludus.com/200503958

Rehearsals begin the week of December 8th, with mandatory tech dates for all cast and crew from February 5th-11th. Performance dates are February 12th-15th.

The Production Team includes Jennifer Conley Darling as Director, Stacy Root & Meagan Ransom as Music Directors, Angela Gerten as Choreographer, Allison Ebner as Costumer, and Jennifer Popovits as Producer.
