Introduction to the Art of Belly Dancing

Experience a fun & inclusive belly dance class open to all genders, experience levels, & ability levels! Join Kathleen Frink, who has earned her certification as an 8 Elements Datura Style Teacher by completing more than 250 hours of dedicated practice, study, and collaboration, for an introduction to the art of belly dancing. During the class we will begin with a brief exploration of the rich history of Datura Style belly dance, followed by movement & dancing. This class will focus on building foundational techniques, improving body awareness, & enjoying the flow of dance. No prior experience is required: just a willingness to learn & have fun!

Registration required; intended for adults but teens in grades 6+ welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely & bring water.
