The Franke Center’s Youth Theater is pleased to announce
Auditions for 5th - 9th grade students for
Beetlejuice Jr. the Musical
The Franke Center’s Youth Theater is pleased to announce auditions for its production of Beetlejuice Jr. the Musical
on March 24 and 25th at The Franke.
This Jr. production adapts a beloved Broadway favorite, thoughtfully edited to a PG rating, by removing suggestive songs, lyrics and content making it perfect for family audiences.
It’s show time! The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in Beetlejuice JR., the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon. Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium. Created for the generation that made it a hit, Beetlejuice JR. is a wacky theatrical party for all!
There is a $12 registration fee (non-refundable) to audition. Everyone is required to bring a current, non-returnable photo. Scholarships available. If cast, there is an additional participation fee of $110.00 for each selected cast member. Sibling Discount and scholarships available.
