We've got a very special and emotional week coming up in WNC, especially for us folks here in Marshall. We will mark the one year milestone of our collective recovery and rebuilding since the storm rolled through town late September of last year. The powerful and cathartic week of live music and fellowship that we have scheduled for this week is not to be missed. If you are local or out of town, we'd appreciate your presence as we all mark this one year milestone together. Come see how far Marshall has come, and how far we still have to go as we all work together to build and rebuild our shared future in this town.
Additionally, we and all of our artists have selected some important nonprofit organizations to raise money for with our tip jar from each night of our programming this week. Bring cash for the tip jar if you can, and we will also have QR codes to scan for digital donations.
Wednesday we will be joined by the always-incredible @caseydriessen. We have so very much enjoyed his residency on the patio this year. His kindness, generosity, and raw talent shine like a beacon wherever he goes. This night the tip jar goes to @wncw_radio.
Thursday we have members of @risingappalachia as they warm up for their two-night run at Pisgah, with support from the spellbinding duo @turtledoves.vision from Michigan. Tips from this night will support @blueridgepublicradio.
Friday we again will have members of @risingappalachia, with support from one of WNC's most talented young groups, @newfoundgapband. This night we donate our tip jar to @marshallreliefalliance.
And Saturday, to close out the milestone week, we will be joined by Madison County's own @nestofsingingbirds. They were the first to bring music back to our space after Helene rolled through, with mud still covering every inch of the building, and it's an honor to have them with us on the one-year mark. The tip jar goes to @madisoncountyarts this night.
Come join us alongside the French Broad in beautiful downtown Marshall. We'll be back with more next week. Every Thursday (and sometimes more) with wonderful original live music, food, and drinks from 6-8pm, rain or shine. Never a cover, always a good time!
