As the post–World War II migrant generation inevitably passes, members of Marrickville’s Greek community reflect on why they settled in the suburb during the 1960s and 1970s, what daily life and local Greek presence were like at the time, how Marrickville 
has changed, and why they chose to stay. 

Through memory, image, and voice, the exhibition explores what 
Marrickville still means to them
