Remember passing notes? Join artist Bec Street as part of the Inner West Inclusion Festival 2025 to craft handmade letters as gifts to brighten someone’s day (or your own).
In this relaxed accessible workshop you’ll write and decorate handmade notes using colourful paper stickers stamps and more. Write messages of care friendship or encouragement and leave with something special to gift or keep at home on the fridge.
There will be printed instructions with photos showing each step of the process plus writing prompts to help you get started. All materials are supplied and no art experience is needed.

Capacity is limited to 15 people per session to keep things relaxed — these will fill quickly so book now!
The 3–4 pm session will be Auslan interpreted with an interpreter available to support Deaf and hard-of-hearing guests.

Passing Notes will be held at Marrickville Library 313 Marrickville Road (corner Livingstone Road).

Public transport is recommended as street parking is limited. Bus routes 418 423 426 and 412 stop nearby on Marrickville Road. Please note that Marrickville train station is temporarily closed for Metro works.
Wide internal pathways outdoor green space to retreat if needed and an on-site café provide a relaxed welcoming environment for all visitors.
