- **Event Description**: The theme of winter will feature - the event is just a few days before the winter solstice. Poems and music on anything to do with winter are welcome (though not mandatory).
Gavin Hanbridge, Andrew Pritchard and Geoffrey Minards are confirmed as feature poets - our 4th feature poet has yet to confirm.
Feature poets have 10 mins each.
If you'd like to perform in the open mic, pls see me from 6:15 on, to add your name to the running list.
In the open mic. poets have a max of 5 mins, musos a max of 2 songs.
Free admission. No rsvp needed.
Here are the biogs of our features:
- Gavin Hanbridge: 2025 Bread and Butter Slampionship Finals, competitor, explores emotional distance and disconnection in men. He was also a Writing NSW Short Fiction finalist. As a Journalist, Gavin has written for organisations as diverse as Wesley Mission and Japanese Ministry of Finance.
- Andrew Pritchard: His favourite poems are the more accessible ones by W.B. Yeats, R.  Frost and T.S. Eliot. He uses rhyme and rhythm as much as possible when writing his poetry, at the same time attempts to convey a clear meaning. 
- Geoffrey Minards: Just released an amazing book of Poetry and Prose ‘Gravity is Falling’. He is also a post-Counterculture boomer who writes poems etc to assuage the alienation of the aforementioned dilemma. Ann Jarjoura will interview him briefly on this. Geoffrey's first time at the Bowlo.

The book sales table will be operating, if you have your own book of poetry you're welcome to put it on sale (each seller takes 100% of any takings).
If you'd like to be in our next anthology (the stipulation is that you must have read at our event at least once since January 2024), pls submit your work ASAP - to soulserendip@yahoo.com.au.
