Three incredible folk singer-songwriter artists are putting on a Thursday night folk party at the wonderful LAZY THINKING in Dulwich Hill. Huck Hastings, Isobel Knight and Grand Baxter (Vic) are coming together to share a lovely night of honest, fun, authentic songwriting, folk sounds and a few smiles along the way.

From the forests of eastern Melbourne come Grand Baxter, an alt-folk troupe combining earnest songwriting, dense textures of guitar and strings, and a humble folk charm. Inspired by Jason Isbell, John Moreland and Gillian Welch, Grand Baxter exists at the intersection of rock, folk and country.
🟡Isobel Knight🟡
Isobel Knight writes and plays songs where the venn diagram of Julia Jacklin and Bruce Springsteen crosses over. Her versatile voice, soul-folk melodies and lyricism have carried her music into hearts and charts, with her album ‘Here Now’ debuting at #5 of the independent charts. Fresh from a co-headline tour of the UK, Isobel is a songwriter full of both warmth and vigour.
🟡Huck Hastings🟡
Huck Hastings has never been one to shy away from the harsher sides of life. His debut 8 song EP “Huckleberry Blues” is an intimate, angst riddled affair detailing the turmoils of a young boy trying to come to terms with himself and his skin. His raw and heartfelt approach garnered esteem from his peers, radio attention and a performance at Ted X Youth Sydney.
