Enter a safe space to be mentored by Demon Derriere as you run amok with your creative flow.
Developing your own act can seem scary as hell! There are many aspects of act creation that needs to be considered & actioned before grace the stage with your daring presence.
This 5-week program curated by Demon Derriere, is divided into three key sections: Theory, Practice, and Production.
In the Theory segment, participants will delve into brand building, social media marketing strategies, contract knowledge, fee negotiation, industry networking, and community engagement.
The Practice section focuses on brainstorming concepts individually and collaboratively, character development, dramaturgy, storytelling, movement, and formation.
Finally, the Production phase involves creating original soundtracks, designing costumes, and mastering sound and light technology. Participants will culminate the program by building their portfolios with professional photos and video footage.
Tailored for performers in Dance, Drag, Burlesque, Performance Art, Acting & Comedy.
