Brooch Club - August 2nd Meet Up - SquarePeg Studios - Marrickville

In this second in-person Brooch Club session, we’ll explore the practicalities that bring a brooch to life.

This session includes:

• A focused exchange on brooch mechanisms – pins, catches, magnets, and more
• Sharing technical approaches and problem-solving tips
• Working time with peers – bring works-in-progress or ideas to test
• Skill-sharing: we’ll encourage demonstrations and tool tips from participants

Whether you’re refining a design or wrestling with a clasp, this meetup is about shared making and mutual support.

For jewellers with an active practice who are contributing to the SCW exhibition.

This is a peer-focused event – ideal for jewellers with an existing practice.

Each Brooch Club meet is hosted in two locations (at the same time) - choose the best location for you - all meets are hosted via this Eventbrite profile - register to secure your spot.

Brooch Club is an initiative to bring our jewellery community together, supported by local Creative Spaces and JMGA NSW.

A suggested donation of $15 per meet helps cover running costs (you can bring it along on the day), but if contributing isn't possible for you right now, please don’t let that be a barrier. Everyone is welcome, regardless of financial means.
