• Patient Clinical Examination & Diagnostics (June 25): Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of patient health questionnaire review, medical and trauma history, chief complaints, and medications. Clinical examination techniques include Head, Neck, TMJ evaluation, Muscle and Joint Palpations, Ligament and Tendon Palpation, Cranial Nerve Evaluation, Ear Canal Examination, Range of Motion (Cervical and Mandibular), JVA, Posture Evaluation, MNRT, and CBCT Interpretation. There will also be a live demonstration.
• Comorbidity, Therapeutics & Technology (June 25): This session will explore the inter-relationship of apnea/snoring with craniofacial pain, discussing its prevalence and overlapping symptoms. Organised treatment strategies will be explained, alongside occlusion and bruxism muscles. Pharmacology for sleep disorders and craniofacial pain, and new technologies like MLS/Fotona/Deka Lasers and JVA, will also be covered.
• Neuroanatomy & Sleep Disorders (June 26): Topics will include a practical overview of the nervous system, emphasising nerve types, cranial nerves, the trigeminal system, autonomic function, nerve pathology, and headaches (primary & secondary). MRI and CBCT Interpretation will also be covered, alongside a live demonstration and discussion of Motor Nerve Reflex Evaluation and its relation to the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Detailed sessions on Adult and Pediatric OSA will also be featured.
• Appliance Therapy & Nutrition (June 27): This day will focus on practical aspects like how to mount using HIP and managing side effects/recapturing discs. Extensive coverage will be given to the diagnosis, indications, and protocols for Decompression Appliance Therapy (DAT) and Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) for SDB and Orofacial Pain, including appliance determination. Nutrition for the chronic TMD patient and Phase II Prosthetics, Orthodontics for both adults and pediatric OSA will also be key areas.
• Hands-On Motor Nerve Reflex Testing (MNRT) (June 28): A dedicated day will provide participants with individual screenings for structural pathology using established protocols (Dark/Light, Standing Posture, nine PCSD, Neurospinal, Provocation, and Postural Compensation tests). Dr. Olmos will review the literature basis and the evolution of his understanding. The course will include individual video presentations, explanations of each test, and extensive hands-on practice for participants, concluding with clinical application and problem-solving relevant for dentists, physicians, and physical therapists. Attendees are advised to wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes, and remove watches and jewelry.
