A fixture on the Australian music scene for more than half a century, Andy Cowan is one of the country’s most revered live performers. With an earthy, emotionally charged voice and deeply expressive piano style, Andy masterfully blends blues, soul and R&B within an acoustic jazz framework. His performances are raw, intimate, powerful - and utterly captivating.

Awarded Blues Album of the Year for One of These Days and an ARIA nominee for 10.30 Thursdays, Andy has represented Australia at the International Blues Convention in Memphis and recorded nine studio albums along with the acclaimed live DVD A Tale of Two Cities. His career includes touring and recording with Australian greats including Madder Lake, Ayers Rock, Kevin Borich, Ian Moss and Renée Geyer.

Now based in the Noosa Hinterland, Andy returns with his stellar band:

•	Duncan MacQueen – drums
•	Special guest Ric Halstead – saxophone

The performance will feature selections from Andy’s latest album, Undercover - a heartfelt collection of classic interpretations recorded at his Black Mountain studio. Expect timeless songs from some of the greatest songwriters of the blues, jazz, soul and rock traditions, including Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Brian Wilson, Leon Russell and Randy Newman - delivered with Andy’s unmistakable depth and soul.

Described as “Simply superb” (Sunday Herald Sun) and “Pure class” (Rhythms Magazine), Andy Cowan continues to set the standard for blues performance in Australia.
