- **Event Description**: Celebrate National Take a Hike day two days early by exploring the beauty of the Black Run Preserve. Evesham Police Officers will lead you through a 1.5-2 mile loop trail, stopping at four different informational and interactive stations staffed by Friends of the Black Run Preserve Ambassadors. A wonderful opportunity for all ages to meet and interact with the police officers who serve the community. Hot chocolate and coffee will be provided.

Note: a 50-yard section of trail has a number of raised roots. Wear appropriate footwear and be aware of tripping hazards. This is a rain or shine event. Trails may be wet or muddy.

Arrive at the Kettle Run Road East Trailhead by 9:45 am to check in.

DATE: Saturday, November 15, 2025
TIME: 10:00 am to noon (Meet at the welcome table at 9:45 am to check in.)
WHERE TO MEET: Kettle Run Road East Trailhead Entrance. This is the main trailhead for Black Run Preserve.
WHAT TO WEAR: Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. Hiking boots, sturdy shoes, or waterproof boots are recommended.
DETAILS: This is a social/informational hike to familiarize participants with the trails of the Black Run Preserve and the Friends of the Black Run Preserve community.
