Part One of the program will focus on Caregivers and Dementia, as presented by Christina Rubano, LCSW. Issues covered will include:

• Creating a safe environment
• Establish routine and engagement
• Using positive language
• Prioritize emotional support and caregiver wellbeing
 
Part Two of the program will focus on Volunteer Opportunities at Samaritan, as presented by Erika Thomas. Points to be covered will include:
 
• Social Connections
• Volunteering you can do from home
• Social isolation and the importance of connection
• Impact of Robotic Pet Companions for patience with Dementia
 
A free continental breakfast sponsored by the Senior Advisory Committee will be served during the event. Those interested in attending are asked to Please RSVP by Monday April 21 to Karen at the Gibson House at (856) 985-9792 or email at marateak@evesham-nj.gov to help the township have an accurate count for the buffet.
