24 hours of Brake the Habit

One of our original races is back! For 2026 we are making it longer and moving it to the wilds of West Virginia. While we love our home state of Virginia, we have fallen in love with WVA and all that it has to offer for outdoor recreation. Rugged, remote, vast, and incredibly scenic, there aren't many other wild places on the eastern seaboard that have what this corner of the state has to offer. It is a special place. Over the course of 24 to 30 hours (final time to be announced once course is done and fully vetted) teams of 2-4 will trek, bike, packraft and full on navigate their way through a course that will explore the mighty and majestic Monongahela National Forest, and other surrounding public land. Race headquarters and the host venue for this event will be announced at a later date to keep things interesting. With that said the race will take place in Pocahontas County and teams can expect to making lodging accommodations within a 25 mile radius of the town of Marlinton. Free primitive camping will also be offered to teams at the host venue. Due to safety and some permitting considerations, SOLO racers will not be allowed. We are actively finalizing all logistical considerations for the event and plan to have all event details and registration LIVE on our website by December 1st.
