- **Event Description**: This Paediatric First Aid course is suitable for anyone who cares for babies and children, as there are options for 4, 6 or 12 hours of content, depending on your level of interest and required qualification. 

It will give you the knowledge and skills to provide the initial treatment for a range of baby and child First Aid conditions and incidents, in a prompt, safe and effective manner.  The course is interactive and assessed through both practical scenarios and questions, and the accredited certificate lasts for three years. The cost also includes a paediatric manual and refreshments.

The 12-hour Ofsted approved Level 3 option is suitable for any childcare professionals e.g. nannies, nursery workers, children’s activity providers and early years teachers.  You can choose the blended option, where the first 6 hours are completed online before spending 6 hours in the classroom. This costs £95 each.

Alternatively, if you haven’t completed this course at least once face to face before, it is strongly recommended (but not compulsory) that you choose the non-blended ticket option and the date for the second 6 hour classroom session will be chosen based on everyone’s availability. This costs £125.

If you only need the 6 hour Emergency Paediatric First Aid course then you can achieve that by just attending the 6 hour classroom session for £80.

Finally parents, grandparents, au pairs and babysitters are welcome to attend for the first 4 hours covering the emergency topics (unconscious casualties, choking, CPR and defibrillators) and receive a certificate of attendance for £50.

The venue is Savernake View. It is a lovely clean and comfortable room, with endless hot drinks and free car parking, on the edge of Marlborough.
