Using materials sustainably foraged from our carefully managed hedgerows, you'll learn to create your own beautiful basket while discovering the traditional techniques of processing and weaving natural materials.Your basket will be perfect for gathering wild items like berries and nuts. Throughout the day, you'll explore the materials used in basket weaving and learn how to process them.Course Outline:Material Preparation: Begin with an introduction to the materials, including clematis, hazel, willow, and brambles. Learn how to properly process and prepare these materials for weaving.Basket Elements: Understand the key components of a basket: the handle, rim, and ribs.
