It’s also a celebration of their first live album in years and in honor of the nation’s 250th birthday, “13-Live.” The album was recorded by the current band for WAMC in Albany earlier this year, and features 13 songs, including 2 new songs: “Enemies of Love” and “Holy Rollers.”

Voted “Best Band” by NY’s Chronogram Magazine for their rootsy, rockin’ psychedelia and fantastic stories and songs, the Slambovians’ deep connection with audiences and exciting live shows are legendary. Woodstock-tinged Americana blends a cool mix of southern rock, Celtic and British folk combined with solid songwriting – a slice of Americana pie that is irresistible!
 
The Band: Joziah Longo (resident shaman of Slambovia), leads with vocals described as “soothing and bewitching as a snake oil tonic.” Longtime bandmates Tink Lloyd (accordion, cello, mandolin, flute) and guitarist/ mandolin wizard Sharkey McEwen bring their own magic to the Slambovian brew with “a little help from their friends” – RJ McCarty (keys, bass, sax), Bob Torsello (bass), and Matthew Abourezk (drums).
