Eddy’s Chemistry Set was born out of necessity during Covid when big bands were too risky to congregate on stage, The Ed Palermo Big Band took a brief hiatus but a few members of the big band desperately needed to play. Voila! Eddy’s Chemistry Set.
This septet has the same twisted musical philosophy as the big band wherein any song that amuses Ed makes its way into the set. The focal point in Eddy’s Chemistry Set is still the music of Frank Zappa but expect major surprises along the way.
