On July 20th Inspire2Dream will be hosting its first Red Carpet Gala. The dinner will include a 5 star chef and buffet style dinner, live entertainment, silent auction, raffle, and more. All tickets sales and donations will be going towards our upcoming mission trip to Africa on August 5th.
For this trip we will purchase toys, school supplies for all ages, male and female hygiene products and non-perishable food items, all of which will be shipped over for distribution. The goal of this trip is to promote education and foster opportunities in these third world countries.
In Sudan, Inspire2Dream will offer financial support to assist with a shortage of humanitarian aid. We will visit orphanages, hospitals and villages to offer fellowship and support to those affected by the famine crisis.
In Egypt, we will help local families to generate income by providing the funds to purchase three wheel taxis, called Tuk Tuks, which cost about $1300 CAD each. We plan to purchase these for about fifteen families, giving them a means of making an income. We will also provide financial aid to support a learning centre which assists young kids who work in warehouses. Our goal is $40 000, and we’re happy to say we’ve collected $7000 so far.
