About Instructor: Yuxuan Cai, Toronto's first tea wagashi artist, began refining and innovating traditional wagashi in 2023. Through advanced training under both Chinese and Japanese masters, she gradually developed her own distinctive school of style. In June 2025, she arrived in Toronto and established the city's first dedicated tea wagashi studio. While preserving traditional techniques, she adapts fillings to suit local tastes and creates designs that reflect Canadian culture.Get ready to learn how to make refined Japanese sweets (wagashi) with a Halloween twist! Our expert instructors will guide you through the process, ensuring you have a fang-tastic time.
During this workshop, you could try Yuxuan's new filling desgins- pumpkin cream cheese, chestnut, blueberry, and custard.
